An alloy steel having a high resistance to pitting and high-temperature deformation. Sometimes used for the valves of internal-combustion engines. Composition: iron 80%, chromium 13.3%, cobalt 3.7%, carbon 1.5%, molybdenum .7%, silicon .4%, manganese .4%.
