Ferro Molybdenum
An alloy of iron and molybdenum of varying proportions made by fusing molybdenite (molybdenum sulphide ore) with scrap iron, lime and coke in an electric furnace. It is a grey, metallic-looking mass and is much used in the production of molybdenum steels.
