Liquid Gold
Many of the so called "liquid golds" consist merely of a paint made up with tin sulphide, which has a lemon color. True liquid gold, however, consists of a resinous compound of gold dissolved in a mixture of essential oils. When coated on to pottery and fired in a high temperature furnace, it produces a brilliant and imperishable film of gold, the exact color of which can be varied by altering the composition of gold compound.
