Rhodium
Rhodium being one of the platinum metals is silvery white in color, being, in respect of whiteness, second only to silver. For this reason, rhodium is now plated on the reflectors of car headlamps since it is absolutely un-tarnishable. It is also plated over silver articles in order to prevent them from tarnishing. Rhodium is even more acid resistant than platinum, for its is not appreciably soluble in an acid mixture of acids.
