Rustless Iron
This is really rustless (or stainless) steel containing about .1% of carbon. It can be tempered and given a maximum tensile strength of from 30 - 70 tonnes per square inch according to the type of heat-treatment which it has been afforded. Because it is malleable, it has a wider range of application for the production of forgings, pressings and stampings than have the normal stainless or rustless steels.
