Tissiers Metal
A red alloy, very hard. It may be considered to be a brass containing a high percentage of copper and hardened by arsenic. Was at one time used as a bearing metal. Composition: copper 97 parts, zinc 2 parts, arsenic 1 - 2 parts. (This composition varies considerably)
